Our Mission
Our mission starts with the promise we make to every animal upon rescue: to replace their past life of abandonment, fear and suffering with the warmth of a loving home and family and a lifetime of endless love, care and happiness.
Our Vision
To help eradicate the overpopulation of stray, abandoned and neglected animals on the island of Puerto Rico, while promoting a culture of love, respect and compassion toward them.
NON-PROFIT
Love of All Dogs is a volunteer run, foster based, registered non-profit organization that dedicates itself to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of the homeless, abandoned or neglected animals of the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. We receive no government funding or support. We survive solely on donations from kind supporters of our mission and our own contributions.
VOLUNTEER RUN
We are a small group of people, in Puerto Rico and stateside, with a big place in our hearts for animal welfare. We dedicate our time, utilize our talents, and are driven by our shared passion and commitment to achieve the common goal of saving animals' lives. It fills our hearts with joy to see these animals find the life they always deserved.
LOCAL AND STATESIDE
Our physical location and initial rescue efforts are based in the island of Puerto Rico. However, after completing their rehabilitation, our rescues are flown to fosters stateside to be adopted into loving families. Rescued animals are mostly flown to the tri-state area but we are open to accepting fosters and adopters in other states as well.
FOSTER BASED
Fostering allows our rescues to have the opportunity to become acquainted with life in a home environment, with people and other animals around, something many of them are not familiar with. This makes them better adoption candidates while helping us get to know the animals better, allowing us to match them with the best "furever" home.
